Our District
We have 7 groups across the district, 2 district explorer units and a network unit. We currently have over 500 youth members within the district and around 200 adult volunteers supporting our members.

We believe that we could significantly increase our membership with more volunteers who could spare us the time. Volunteering is #goodforyou as not only does it give you that warm fuzzy feeling, but it gets you out and about, is good for your mental wellbeing and lets you help mould young peoples lives.

What can I do to help?
We are always on the look out for new volunteers so if you want to make a difference and help young people learn #skillsforlife try our 4 Week Volunteering Challenge to see how you can volunteer and support the next generation. Contact gsl.collingham@newarkscouts.org.uk for more information.
The team in Collingham is led by Karren Dearlove with a team of leaders, supporters and parents from the local community. Above all volunteering is fun and needs no prior knowledge. Our volunteers all comment on how rewarding it is to help out and see our future generations develop in front of their eyes.
