Our District
We have 7 groups across the district, 2 district explorer units and a network unit. We currently have over 500 youth members within the district and around 200 adult volunteers supporting our members.

We believe that we could significantly increase our membership with more volunteers who could spare us the time. Volunteering is #goodforyou as not only does it give you that warm fuzzy feeling, but it gets you out and about, is good for your mental wellbeing and lets you help mould young peoples lives.

About our network
Our Network Unit is for our young adult members from the ages of 18 all the way through to 25.

Whilst the Unit does not have weekly meetings, they come together to participate in expeditions and activities on an ad-hoc basis and provide additional adult support to help our younger sections.

The Network has no set meeting place, though it is rumoured that licenced establishments are often chosen as a meeting place, as apparently they are usually heated, have car parking and are easy to locate.

In recent times our Network has participated in the London Monopoly Run, organised a Hill Walking expedition in Derbyshire, a Canoeing Trip down the Trent and are leading the upcoming trip to Czechia this summer, taking 29 scouts and explorers with them.
